What I did
- Worked with the head of the compensation department ahead of the CEO’s retirement announcement at a $50 billion private company
- Engaged outside consultants and led the design of a retention plan for Cargill’s top five executives
- The CEO accepted the plan and the Board approved it in spring 1998; all five executives stayed
- Finished the M.A. with a 4.0 at the same time, spending the last term at ESADE in Barcelona
